The 44th Aberdeen & Grampian Chamber of Commerce Energy Transition Survey, sponsored by Johnston Carmichael and D2Zero, is now open, and we are asking energy businesses across the North-east to take part.
From the future fiscal framework for oil and gas to the development of renewables, skills, investment and the wider energy transition, businesses are operating in a rapidly changing policy environment. The UK Government has recently published draft legislation for the Oil and Gas Revenue Levy, which is intended to replace the Energy Profits Levy from 2030, while Scotland continues to focus on renewable energy, energy infrastructure and supporting a just transition for the offshore workforce.
Against this backdrop, it is important that policymakers understand what these changes mean for businesses on the ground.
The Energy Transition Survey provides a regular, independent picture of business confidence, investment, employment, transition activity and the policy and regulatory barriers facing the sector.
