A utilities management firm focused on finding sustainable solutions has expanded its leadership team to prepare for future growth, after working with Business Gateway.
Eyebright Ltd is a utilities management firm based in Glasgow, established in 2009, that builds energy solutions services such as implementing carbon reporting support and guidance on green procurement.
These strategies enable businesses across the UK to achieve sustainable solutions in their operations. Due to Eyebright’s expert advice, one of their clients reported a reduction of 4,000 tonnes of CO2 in their business activities.
Founder Jamie Newall has worked with Business Gateway since its initial launch in 2009, and through the service, has accessed many different support programmes as the business has become a UK-wide business.
Most recently, Jamie worked with Business Gateway to scale up and invest in its digital and software platforms and received support on his growth strategy, as well as Intellectual Property support.
Jamie was also able to receive funding through Glasgow City Council, after Business Gateway facilitated an introduction to members of the Glasgow Business Support team.
Following this package of support, Jamie has bolstered his senior leadership by appointing a Non-Executive Director and Sales Director, both of which will be responsible for driving further growth.
