Energy Voice, in partnership with Hydrasun, a D2Zero company, will host a live podcast event in Aberdeen exploring how the UK can strengthen its energy supply chain while delivering a balanced power mix.

The event will take place on Thursday 19 February, from 5.30pm to 8pm.

Titled Powering up the UK energy supply chain in 2026, the evening will bring together senior leaders from across energy, infrastructure and investment for live discussion, debate and networking.

With oil and gas investment in the North Sea under pressure and clean energy projects facing delays, the UK’s world-class energy supply chain is increasingly looking overseas and into adjacent sectors such as defence. The discussion will examine how companies can remain competitive globally while continuing to anchor jobs, skills and investment in the UK.

The session will also highlight how established supply chain companies are diversifying, innovating and positioning themselves for long-term growth.

The panel will cover:

  • How supply chain companies are responding to shifting investment and policy signals
  • Balancing energy security with the transition to cleaner power
  • Keeping skills, jobs and investment rooted in the UK

The event will feature speakers from Hydrasun, National Gas, Port of Aberdeen, D2Zero and Piper Sandler, and will conclude with a Q&A session, and networking.
