Energy Voice and E-FWD are joining forces with DNV on Thursday October 22 for a day of insight and discussion on the future of the UK energy sector and North Sea.
Hosted at Aberdeen Journals, Marischal Square, the programme will explore the findings of DNV’s latest Energy Transition Outlook and what they mean for businesses, leaders and organisations operating across the energy sector.
The day will be of particular interest to North Sea developers, asset owners and supply chain organisations looking to understand how the outlook could shape investment, projects and the wider energy landscape.
The programme features two sessions, giving attendees the opportunity to explore the outlook from both an industry and business perspective.
The morning Energy Voice Live x DNV: Going Faster session will bring industry leaders together for a live recording of the Out Loud podcast, examining the key themes emerging from DNV’s outlook. The panel will include Maggie McGinlay, CEO of ETZ, alongside other industry voices, with audience Q&A, networking and refreshments.
In the afternoon, E-FWD x DNV: Shaping Tomorrow’s North Sea Today will take a deeper look at the outlook and its implications for the North Sea. Featuring an expert presentation from DNV’s Sarah Kimpton, a panel discussion with Harriet Cross MP, Shadow Energy Minister and Shadow Secretary of State for Scotland and Gavin Templeton, CEO of Veri Energy, interactive workshops sessions and networking drinks to conclude.
The afternoon session is typically exclusive to E-FWD members as part of their membership. For this event, a limited number of places are being opened to invited guests, providing an opportunity to experience the insight, access and discussion that form part of the E-FWD community.
