In his new role, Nuno will lead EnerMech’s global Energy Solutions team to elevate service delivery, enhance the technical offering and drive sustainable growth across offshore and onshore markets. He will work closely with the organization’s executive team to strengthen customer partnerships and unlock new opportunities in an increasingly competitive landscape.
As part of the leadership strategy, Frazer Thomson has moved into the position of SVP Technical Solutions, taking on global responsibility for technical leadership across both Energy and Infrastructure & Industrial Solutions. He will also assume the post of Country Management for the Americas, leveraging his extensive technical expertise and strong client relationships to enhance EnerMech’s competitive position. David Gutierrez will continue as VP of Business Development in the Americas, partnering closely with Frazer to support EnerMech’s activities in Guyana, Trinidad and Tobago and the wider region, ensuring strong, coordinated regional leadership.
Charles ‘Chuck’ Davison Jr., EnerMech chief executive officer said: “Nuno brings exceptional technical expertise, commercial insight and a passion for developing high-performing teams. His appointment reflects the ambition to strengthen our Energy Solutions offering and seize new opportunities across global markets. Nuno de Sousa said: “EnerMech has a strong reputation for delivering safe, reliable and technically differentiated solutions. I’m excited to join the team at such a pivotal time for the industry and to help advance the company’s strategy, support our customers and unlock new growth opportunities. I look forward to working closely with Chuck and the teams across the business to build on EnerMech’s strong foundations and drive continued success.”
Nuno’s career is underpinned by a strong academic foundation, including an MBA in Corporate Management from Brazil’s Fundação Getulio Vargas and a Master’s in Mechanical Engineering from NOVA University of Lisbon (Portugal). He also has specialist training in pipeline engineering and has also completed executive programs at leading global institutions such as INSEAD, MIT Sloan, and the Darden School of Business.
