EPIT Group, a specialist provider of training, assessment and competency services for engineers and technicians working in hazardous, industrial and offshore environments, will be attending Subsea Expo 2026, February 4 to 5, at P&J Live in Aberdeen.

Subsea Expo is a key event for the global subsea and offshore community, bringing together operators, contractors and technology providers to explore current challenges and future developments across the sector. EPIT’s attendance reflects its ongoing commitment to supporting safety, competence and best practice within high-risk subsea operations.

EPIT delivers specialist training and assessment programmes designed to ensure personnel working in hazardous environments are competent, confident and compliant with industry standards. A key area of focus is high-voltage safety within subsea operations, including training developed specifically for personnel working with Remotely Operated Vehicles (ROVs).

One such programme is EPIT’s High Voltage Safe Working Practices for ROVs course, which is aligned with IMCA’s R 005 guidance. The course provides engineers and technicians with practical knowledge and skills in high-voltage safety, including safe isolation, testing procedures and the management of HV systems commonly found on ROVs.

At Subsea Expo, EPIT will be engaging with industry stakeholders and following developments across the subsea and offshore sectors, with a particular focus on competence management, electrical safety and the evolving training requirements for high-risk roles.

Looking ahead, EPIT continues to expand its training portfolio to meet the changing needs of the energy and offshore industries. This includes developing new courses aligned with emerging standards and delivering flexible training solutions through onsite delivery, e-learning and blended learning models, tailored to specific operational risk profiles.

Attendance at Subsea Expo supports EPIT’s wider aim of remaining closely connected to industry needs and contributing to safer, more competent subsea operations worldwide.
