Erskine Veterans Charity is delighted to share that the world’s leading malt whisky specialist, Gordon & MacPhail has raised an outstanding £13,141.65 to support veterans across the North of Scotland at the Erskine Veterans Activity Centre in Forres.

Gordon & MacPhail colleagues chose Erskine as the company’s 2025 charity partner, recognising the vital difference the charity makes to veterans, their families, and the wider community.

As Scotland’s leading provider of care for Veterans, Erskine supports nearly 1,300 Veterans and spouses in Scotland. Person-centred care within our care homes in Edinburgh and Bishopton, a Veterans Village offering family cottages, assisted living, Home Support, and supported transition apartments. Our two activity centres in Forres and Bishopton help veterans of all ages connect, build skills, and find renewed purpose after their service.

As part of its long-standing commitment to local giving, Gordon & MacPhail ran a packed programme of fundraising activities. Highlights included participation in a Firewalk, the Beast Race and Dramathon, alongside a golf day, bake sale, fly‑fishing event, whisky tasting and more.

Team members also generously volunteered their time at Erskine events—from bucket collections at the MacMoray Festival to helping at Armed Forces Day, and Motorfun at Cooper Park.

Erskine was delighted to welcome colleagues and partner businesses to a special corporate day at Benromach Distillery, giving them the chance to learn more about the charity’s impact.

Jodie Clayton, HR Business Partner and Charity Lead at Gordon & MacPhail, said: “Our annual charity partnership means a lot to our team, and this year Erskine received unanimous support. We’re honoured to have raised over £13,000 and to have volunteered alongside veterans at the Forres centre. It’s been a privilege to play a small part in supporting Erskine’s invaluable work.”

Michael Parkes, Fundraising & Development Manager (North) at Erskine, added: “A huge thank you to the entire Gordon & MacPhail team for a fantastic year of support. From car washes and bake sales to the Beast Race, we’re incredibly grateful for the enthusiasm shown by everyone involved. £13,141.65 is a phenomenal total and will help the Erskine Veterans Activity Centre North continue to change—and save—lives across Moray and beyond.”
