Aberdeen-based finance software support company, Escone Solutions, has announced its sponsorship of local mixed martial artist Damon Donald ahead of his upcoming Cage Warriors bout.

Donald is set to face Kenny Mokhonoana at Cage Warriors 194 on September 27 in Dublin, marking the athlete’s fourth professional fight for Cage Warriors.

The sponsorship marks another step in Escone Solutions’ commitment to supporting local talent and community initiatives, extending its involvement beyond the world of finance systems and technology into grassroots sport.

Donald, who trains at Aberdeen Combat Centre, has steadily built his reputation within the UK fight scene and sees the Cage Warriors platform as an opportunity to showcase his skills at an international level. Known for producing fighters who go on to compete in the UFC, Cage Warriors provides significant exposure for athletes and their supporters.

Kevin Wyness, Co-founder and Director at Escone Solutions, said:

“We are delighted to once again back Jamal as he prepares for this important fight. His hard work, determination, and commitment to continuous improvement resonate strongly with the values we hold as a company. Supporting an Aberdeen fighter on such a stage is a privilege, and we look forward to following Damon’s journey in Dublin.”

Cage Warriors 194 takes place at the 3Arena in Dublin, with fighters from across Europe competing in front of a global audience through the promotion’s broadcast partners. For Donald, it represents one of the biggest opportunities of his career so far.
