Escone Solutions has begun a two-stage volunteering initiative with Camphill School Aberdeen, with the first set of employees spending the day at Linden House – the school’s new residential home for young people with additional support needs.
The group rolled up their sleeves to help with gardening and outdoor maintenance, ensuring the green spaces around Linden House can be enjoyed by residents and visitors alike. Their efforts form part of a wider plan, with a second Escone team scheduled to volunteer next week.
Mike Charles, director and co-founder, said: “Community is central to everything we do, and this was a brilliant opportunity for our people to get hands-on and make a difference. Having two separate groups heading out gives more of our team the chance to be involved and support the fantastic work Camphill School does.”
Camphill School Aberdeen provides education and care for children and young people with additional support needs, creating safe, inclusive environments where they can thrive. The addition of Linden House earlier this year is a further step forward in delivering high-quality care and support.
The initiative reflects Escone’s commitment to strengthening community connections across the Aberdeen area, having completed the Kilt Walk at the beginning of June raising funds for Team Jak.
