After Aleksandra and Shona joining The Language Room team in October, new recruit Eneko started last month.
Eneko will be responsible for the company’s web development and brings with him many years’ experience in web design and marketing. From Spain originally. he has been living in Scotland for the last three years, braving he Scottish winters instead of the balmy ones so typical of the Basque country. Eneko will be developing The Language Room website to make it more functional, easy to use and allowing existing and potential clients to access quickly and easily information on the site.
They are also developing their blog to add useful, and sometimes funny, articles and tips about their industry. Their mobile friendly platform will greatly improve visitors’ experience and will mean that anyone needing professional translation or interpretation services can reach them at a click of a button.
Just after Eneko started, Marine who is from France has joined the team for a 6-month internship on her way to becoming a professional translator.
The team has grown in order to allow The Language Room to keep providing an increasing number of translations to a wide range of industries: from Health to Oil and Gas, from Food and Drink to Tourism and many more.
The next phase of The Language Room’s development will be their expansion into France with the long overdue creation of a subsidiary company and a localised French website, explains Elodie Milne the Managing director at The Language Room.
The next phase of recruitment is therefore well underway to employ more in-house linguists and administrative staff allowing them to grow and maintain the high quality service their clients need and deserve.
