Eztek Limited has raised an incredible £8,014 for 1st Balmedie Scout Group through its charity golf day at Newmachar Golf Club.
The event was organised by Eztek Directors Robin and Cherylle Hunter and Eztek Logistics Coordinator Ian Strachan. There were 17 teams made up of Eztek customers, suppliers, friends and Scout parents for a fantastic day of golf and fundraising. A team of volunteers from 1st Balmedie Scout Group also helped on the day to ensure the event ran smoothly.
Both Cherylle and Robin volunteer with the Scout Group. Cherylle has been a Scout Leader for more than 10 years and is passionate about creating opportunities and adventures for local young people.
1st Balmedie Scout Group is run entirely by volunteers and supports more than 100 young people across its Beaver, Cub, Scout and Explorer sections. The money raised will help the group replace and upgrade essential camping equipment, subsidise activities and camps, and ensure that as many young people as possible can take part.
Eztek Limited is a well-established supplier of electronic instrumentation for the global oil and gas industry. Since 1993, Eztek has designed and manufactured a range of systems built to support clients in the field, including data loggers, intercom systems, wireline instrumentation and camera systems. The company supports several local groups and believes strongly in supporting the local community.
