Recently, two established Dundee Companies - Galloways and Pressurefab have gone into administration with the loss of 160 (plus 8 apprentices) and 42 (plus 1 apprentice) employees respectively.
Galloways was an engineering and fabrication manufacturing business (commercial and domestic) and Pressurefab designed and manufactured rig topside and subsea equipment.
The PACE partnership, co-ordinated by Skills Development Scotland, is arranging an event for staff affected by these redundancies in the Apex Hotel, Dundee on Thursday August 11 from 10am until 3pm.
Skills Development Scotland is inviting any employers who operate in this area and have vacancies which would be relevant to these individuals to please contact the team to discuss having a presence at this event.
