A North-east facilities management leader has been featured on Grampian Hospital Radio following an interview about a fundraising initiative supporting mental health and cancer charities.
Marius Coste, Facilities Management Leader at Elior UK, is the founder of the Miles of Smiles campaign, now in its 44th week.
The initiative supports Scottish Association for Mental Health and Clan Cancer Support.
To date, the campaign has recorded:
- 2,770 kilometres completed on foot across Scotland
- £3,273 raised, alongside £7,000 previously raised for SAMH
- 216 cold showers and 48 cold-water dips completed
The interview was broadcast on Grampian Hospital Radio, a volunteer-run station established in 1981 that provides programming across NHS Grampian hospitals and online.
