Aberdeen’s Enjoy Music festival has confirmed the headliners for the 2 day event at Hazlehead Park this summer.
The annual Festival will see dance music legends Faithless and BRIT and Grammy award winners Basement Jaxx both perform DJ sets, along with Britpop bands Cast and Starsailor across Friday and Saturday June 1- 2.
Festival boss Russell Aitchison said “We are proud that this year’s event features some of the best British rock and dance music. Join us in June and you will see former Glastonbury headliners Basement Jaxx, and Faithless perform DJ sets, you can catch the brilliant Starsailor and hear the hits of Cast and much more. It is going to be an incredible weekend, right in the heart of Aberdeen.”
Marketing director Mark Lenthall added “The 90’s was the last great decade of music and this year we are harking back to the glory days of Britpop, with some era defining acts. Early bird tickets are now on and with so many people telling us how much they love having a music festival in Aberdeen, we are sure they will sell out fast”
The full bill will be released in the weeks ahead and with the Festival expanding to two days for the first time this summer, the organisers claim the event will be bigger than ever before,
