Farsight, an Aberdeen-based video and digital marketing agency, is marking its second anniversary, a milestone shaped by creative ambition, strategic thinking, and the belief that every business has a story worth telling.

Founded in 2023 by Managing Director Michael Silva, Farsight began as a leap of faith: a decision to build a company driven by values, quality and clear communication at a time when businesses were navigating uncertain market conditions. Two years on, the company has become a trusted creative partner to organisations across the North-east, delivering cinematic video production, monthly marketing support, photography, and brand storytelling.

From energy and industrial services to hospitality, software and community organisations, Farsight has partnered with a diverse range of clients to help them grow their visibility, engage their audiences and strengthen their market position. The company’s collaborative approach, blending creativity, psychology-driven storytelling and data-led strategy, has enabled local businesses to better showcase their value and stand out in an increasingly competitive digital landscape.

Michael Silva reflected on the milestone: “Starting a business has always been a daunting goal of mine, but one I’d wanted to pursue for years, ever since I moved my life to Canada back in 2013. Fast forward to today, and I’m incredibly grateful for the support I’ve had throughout the journey. Believing in yourself and taking risks are key in life, and this is one I’m proud to say I took.My aim will always be to grow, both as a person and as a business. To learn, to challenge ourselves, to support, and to inspire others.”

Over the past year, Farsight expanded its team with the addition of a Marketing Associate, strengthened its service offering, and launched its BE SEEN campaign, a bold initiative encouraging businesses to embrace consistent, impactful marketing. 

The agency has also invested in cinematic creative development, including a growing series of narrative-driven case studies and brand films now used by clients to support tenders, recruitment, and promotional activity.

As the company enters its third year, its focus remains on supporting businesses across Aberdeen and beyond with high-impact storytelling, strategy, and ongoing marketing solutions designed to drive long-term growth.
