Gathimba Edwards Foundation (GEF) has announced the return of its much-anticipated biennial fundraising dinner in the form of a Christmas Ball, taking place at The Chester Hotel on Saturday, November 14, 2026 from 6pm to 1am.
Bringing together supporters from across the north-east for a night of festive glamour and giving, the event will raise vital funds for three gifts that matter most: Education, Shelter and Wellbeing. Funds raised on the evening will help transform lives and bring lasting hope to families supported by the foundation in Kenya and North-east Scotland.
The evening will be compered by Dave Moorcroft OBE, with live music from Mustang and a saxophonist, with a piper welcoming guests on arrival. Attendees will enjoy a three-course dinner alongside inspiring speakers, a live and silent auction, raffle and interactive fundraising games.
