Aberdeen’s fireworks display is set to light up the night skies again on Wednesday 5 November.  

Following on from last year’s success, the display will be launched from the end of Port of Aberdeen’s North Pier with spectators able to watch from the southern end of the Esplanade.  

Aberdeen City Council Co-Leader Councillor Ian Yuill said: “Fireworks night is always hugely popular and well-attended by all ages.” 

“I hope everyone wraps up warm and prepares to be dazzled by the spectacular display.”  

Aberdeen City Council Co-Leader Councillor Christian Allard said: “This event will kick off our winter events with a bang, and I hope everyone is able to come along and be dazzled by this year’s display.” 

The display will begin at 7:30pm and will last approximately 20 minutes.  

The free event will mark the start of Aberdeen’s 2025 Winter Festival programme.  

Park and Ride buses, provided by First Bus, will be available from Bridge of Don, Kingswells and Souter Head Road at Aberdeen Altens Hotel will be available to bring people to and from the event. There will be no parking around the event except blue badge parking.  

Spectators are reminded to leave dogs at home and not to bring any fireworks, alcohol, drones or large bags along. Bag searches will be in operation for the safety of those attending.
