Passengers face further flight delays today after an air traffic control failure led to as many as 1,000 cancellations across the UK on Tuesday.
Tens of thousands of travellers were affected by the Nats system glitch, with Heathrow, Gatwick, Manchester and Birmingham among the worst-hit airports.
There was a knock-on effect for Aberdeen, with passengers warned that some services could face disruption.
A spokesperson for AGC, which operates Aberdeen International Airport, said: "A technical issue affecting NATS air traffic control services is causing disruption to some flight departures. As a result, some services operating to and from our airports may experience delays.
“We apologise for any inconvenience and advise passengers to check with their airline for the latest flight information before travelling."
Airports stressed that decisions to delay or cancel individual services are taken by airline operators.
EasyJet cancelled around 200 flights and British Airways more than 100, while Ryanair said more than 65,000 of its passengers suffered delays of up to eight hours.
Nats chief executive Martin Rolfe apologised and said there would be a full investigation after resolving the problem took "longer than hoped".
Transport Secretary Heidi Alexander has summoned Rolfe for talks today and warned disruption could continue as airlines work through the backlog.
She said: "It will take time to fully resume flights, so continue to check with airlines".
