The prominent, 12-story former BT office building in Aberdeen city centre is set to go to auction with a guide price of just £250,000.
New Telecom House, on College Street next to Aberdeen Railway Station and Union Square, has lain empty since BT's departure in 2020 as the pandemic ushered in a move towards remote working.
Now, less than three years after it was put on the market with a price tag of £2million, The Press and Journal reports the office block is due to go under the hammer with Acuitus auction house via a livestream on October 29.

The building spans close to 78,000 sq ft over 12 floors, and could be converted for residential use as flats or student accommodation, turned into a hotel, or refurbished for continued office use.
It also comes with 56 parking spaces.
