Revd Tanya Webster, minister at Fountainhall Church, will be going even more pink than usual during October to raise awareness of
cancer detection and to support the good work of Maggie’s Aberdeen!
Starting with dying her
hair pink at the beginning of the month, she will do pink challenges every day
in October. From wearing pink every day to eating pink food, reading a book
with a pink cover or planting pink hyacinth bulbs, the congregation of Fountainhall
Church has come up with a very creative list of challenges for Rev. Tanya
Webster to implement each day of the month.
The aim of these challenges is to raise funds and awareness of the work done by Maggie’s Aberdeen supporting people diagnosed with cancer and their families. She is setting up a target of £2000 to raise through a Just Giving page (follow this link https://www.justgiving.com/page/tanya-webster-1 or scan the QR code below).
