Men of all ages and abilities are being invited to take part in a free, one-off Men’s Yoga session at Sport Aberdeen.

Organised in support of Men’s Health Week, International Yoga Day and Father’s Day, the class will run this Sunday (June 21st) from 10.30am to 11.30am at Get Active @ Northfield.

Suitable for all levels, the class has been designed to support both physical and mental wellbeing through simple movements, stretching, breathing exercises and relaxation techniques.

The class aims to encourage more men to experience the benefits of yoga, including improved flexibility, reduced muscle tension, better stress management and enhanced overall wellbeing.

Mark Wallace, Health, Fitness & Retention Manager at Sport Aberdeen, said, “Yoga is a fantastic way to improve both physical and mental health regardless of age, fitness level or experience.

“With Men’s Health Week, International Yoga Day and Father’s Day all falling at the same time, it felt like the perfect opportunity to introduce this one-off class. We hope it encourages men to take some time for themselves and discover the benefits that yoga can bring.”

The Men-Only Yoga class is free to attend, but advance booking is recommended. To book a place, visit www.sportaberdeen.co.uk/venues/get-active-northfield
