Run by brothers Robbie (32) and Chris Moult (36) the firm expect the new site to open in October and create an additional 25 full and part time positions bringing them up to 85 employees across the North-east based firm.
Robbie said: “We are really excited to bring FreshMex to Glasgow. The city has a tremendous food scene and we look forward to seeing how customers welcome our fresh tex-mex food.
"We have been searching for a number of years for the right location in Glasgow and believe we have managed to secure a really good spot in the popular and trendy west end.
"We would like to thank our loyal customers over the years for their continued support, it's been an epic journey so far and we can't wait to share our next chapter with them."
The brothers also took delivery of a bespoke food truck earlier this year with one of their first events the BrewDog AGM in Ellon serving up tacos, nachos and burritos. The food truck will be used at a number of high footfall events around Edinburgh especially - with the firm catering at Murrayfield in the Autumn - but the truck can also be hired for private and corporate events.
FreshMex has also won some high profile contracts with supermarkets over recent years, with Robbie stating to "stay tuned for some delicious new products in the works which we hope to be on shelves across the country in 2026."
