New evening classes from the University of Aberdeen will give members of the public the opportunity to learn a new language when they start next month.

Classes on offer include; Italian, French, Arabic and Japanese. The majority of the evening classes take place in-person, however some online courses are also available. The courses run for 12 weeks, with a break over the festive period. With courses for beginners and beyond, it’s the perfect opportunity to learn a new language or enhance your existing language skills.

Professor Michelle MacLeod, Head of School of Language, Literature, Music, and Visual Culture said: “We have a great range of language courses on offer for members of the public to sign up for.”

“A lot of people aspire to learn a language, whether just for fun or to further enhance their career prospects, so whether you want to order a cappuccino in Spain or brush up on your German, there is something for everyone!”
