GB Tarpaulins has expanded its operations in Portlethen after relocating to a new workshop roughly double the size of its previous premises.
The family-run business moved from Unit C at Badentoy Business Centre to Units 1 & 2 at Piper Alpha Business Centre in April, remaining within Badentoy Industrial Estate.
The larger facility provides GB Tarpaulins with increased production capacity, additional space for machinery and an improved workshop layout, while creating room for the business to continue developing its manufacturing capabilities and take on larger projects.
Szymon Burzynski, managing director of GB Tarpaulins, said: “The additional space has made a big difference to how we operate day-to-day. We have been able to improve the layout of the workshop, create more space around our machinery and give the production team greater flexibility when working on larger jobs.”
Sophie Burzynski, business development director of GB Tarpaulins, said: “The move reflects how much the business has grown over the last few years. Having roughly twice the workshop space gives us the capacity to continue building on that growth, invest in new capabilities and create further opportunities for the business.”
The move marks another step in the continued development of GB Tarpaulins, providing the company with a larger base from which to support its customers across a wide range of industries.
