Since first opening our doors back in 2008, Genny Hire Ltd have gone from
strength to strength and are still here and stronger than ever.
Sadly, in May 2019, one of the directors, Peter Emslie passed away, but
Peter’s ethos and ‘can do’ spirit is well and truly alive within the Genny Hire
team. Lorna Clark, Peter's partner and director of Genny Hire said “2019 was
professionally a difficult year for everyone who knew Peter and also personally
hard for me coming to terms with his loss. It is some small comfort being at
work where we are surrounded by the memory of Peter's unique personality,
his much loved phrases and the feeling that he is still with us.”
Despite the challenging economic climate, Genny Hire remains one of the
industry leaders in temporary power supply within the oil and gas, service,
marine, farming, construction and event management sectors within the
North-east of Scotland.
They are aiming to move from our current site at the Murcar roundabout, to
bigger premises in the very near future. Having bigger premises will mean that
we can continue to grow, expand and upgrade our existing fleet to keep up
with the demands of their customers, whilst still offering the same great service
our customers expect from Genny Hire.
They service and maintain our whole fleet onsite. Our generator fleet ranges
from 10kVA to 1250kVA and rig safe spec generators. They also have a full range
of power distribution solutions including, HV 690v Transformers, PDU’s, MG
sets, load banks, fuel tanks, fuel bowsers, socket panels and cabling to suit.
We recently upgraded our fleet to include petrochemical spec, top of the
range, Trime™, LED automatic lighting towers, which have proved to be a big
hit with our customers.
