Glen Garioch Distillery has been named Best Visitor Attraction at the Aberdeen City and Shire Thistle Awards, recognising the Oldmeldrum attraction’s commitment to delivering memorable visitor experiences, celebrating the people, heritage and character of the North-east.
The award recognises the work of Glen Garioch’s Visitor Centre team, whose approach combines warm, knowledgeable storytelling with a strong connection to the local area. The team has continued to develop its visitor offering through new experiences, partnerships with local producers and hospitality businesses, and improvement informed by visitor feedback.
Speaking on the win, Visitor Centre Manager Christina Dobbie expressed her pride in the team’s achievement, stating, “Winning Best Visitor Attraction is an incredible achievement for our team and something we are extremely proud of.
