Go To First Aid Training has delivered workplace first aid courses in Aberdeen for Tullos Training Ltd, providing staff with practical, up-to-date skills tailored to their working environment.

The on-site delivery enabled the sessions to be shaped around the organisation’s day-to-day realities, offering learners immediate relevance and practical value. The programme forms part of Tullos Training’s ongoing commitment to ensuring its teams meet recommended first aid standards and feel confident responding to first aid situations.

Participants reported that the training was informative, interactive and well-paced, with a strong balance of theory and hands-on practice. Feedback highlighted the trainers’ depth of knowledge and the way they encouraged class discussion to strengthen understanding.

Participants feedback included that they “would definitely” recommend this course because of its “interactivity and the knowledge and personality of the trainers”.

One participant noted: “The trainers were excellent at explaining things.”

Another added: “Good mix of theory and practical. Immersive (hands-on). Knowledgeable and personable instructors.”

Go To First Aid Training continues to support employers in assessing and meeting their first aid obligations, helping organisations identify the provision required for their workforce based on risk, workplace type, and operating patterns.

Tullos Training Ltd further benefitted from Go To First Aid Training’s initiative to offer free first aid sessions for young people in schools and colleges. Go To First Aid Training delivered two-hour practical first aid classes to three groups of first-year apprentices at Tullos Training, helping them gain essential relevant first aid skills early in their careers. Feedback from the apprentices was highly positive. They found the sessions genuinely useful for their workplaces and particularly valued the hands-on, interactive elements. Many expressed a clear interest in receiving further training.

This initiative highlights the commitment of both organisations to equipping young people with the knowledge and confidence to respond effectively in emergency situations.
