Gore Street Capital partnered with Hypercube to design and build a scalable asset management platform, providing greater control over operational data while creating a flexible foundation for future AI and automation.

Gore Street Capital is a market leader in energy storage systems and renewable energy solutions. Through its funds, the business has built a growing international portfolio of grid-scale battery assets, with operational projects across the UK, Ireland, Germany, Texas and California, alongside new funds and pipeline activity in Japan and Europe.

As the business has scaled, it has continued to bring more operational capability in-house. Its asset management team plays a central role in overseeing day-to-day fleet performance, balancing EBITDA optimisation with risk management across an increasingly complex portfolio. With ambitions to enter new markets, onboard new projects efficiently and deepen its use of data across asset management, commercial and optimisation workflows, Gore Street Capital required a more flexible and future-ready approach to managing operational data.

Hypercube worked closely with Gore Street Capital to design and build a scalable data platform that consolidates operational data from across the fleet into a single, structured environment. Using technologies configured around the realities of battery asset management, the platform standardises operational data, improves accessibility and enables Gore Street Capital to develop operational logic, alerts and reporting around its own priorities.

The platform gives Gore Street Capital greater ownership of its data and technology roadmap, and the business can now build and refine workflows around its own needs. By organising data into standardised structures, it also makes it easier to generate operational insights across the fleet and run analytical processes more consistently.

Daniel Sherlock-Burke, Director of Asset Management at Gore Street Capital, said: "What we expected to take three months was delivered in just six weeks. It’s ridiculous how much quicker it is when you set up the right structures and have control of your own data."

He added: "We have our own in-house platform now and Hypercube got us there."

The platform now supports improved fleet visibility, faster alert response and more actionable operational insight, while providing a scalable foundation for future AI-assisted workflows and automated asset management processes.
