Robert Gordon University (RGU) has teamed up with Brewdog and Hutcheon Mearns to host a ‘Graduation… here we come’ event.
Open to all fourth year RGU Aberdeen Business School (ABS) students, the event is being held tomorrow (Thursday) from 5pm to 6.45pm.
Financial Director of Brewdog Neil Simpson, who is an ABS graduate, will share his post-graduation story and journey to the top of one of the fastest growing craft beer companies.
Hutcheon Mearns, a local chartered accountancy and recruitment firm will share some hints and tips for navigating the local employment marketplace – the Directors’ decision to launch a new venture at the beginning of the downturn and the successes they have achieved in a short time put them in an ideal position to offer valuable advice to students.
RGU’s Careers Service will also launch their ‘Whats Next’ Campaign.
Professor Elizabeth Gammie, Head of Aberdeen Business School, said: “Our final year students are all working incredibly hard at the moment and we want them to take some time out to think about life beyond graduation and the many opportunities which lie ahead.
“By hearing from our alumni about where a degree from Aberdeen Business School can take you, we hope to inspire our students to ‘think big’ and face the graduate recruitment marketplace with confidence.”
