Grampian Fasteners is pleased to announce the addition of two fully electric vans to its company fleet, alongside the installation of solar panels at its premises in Dyce, reinforcing the company’s commitment to reducing its environmental impact.
The new electric vans will be used for local deliveries and operations, helping to reduce emissions and support cleaner transport across the region. In parallel, the newly installed solar panels will generate renewable energy on-site, lowering reliance on the national grid and reducing the company’s overall carbon footprint.
These investments also reflect Grampian Fasteners’ commitment to aligning with customers who are increasingly focused on sustainability and environmental responsibility within their own operations and supply chains. By taking practical steps to reduce emissions and improve energy efficiency, Grampian Fasteners aims to support customers in meeting their environmental objectives while continuing to deliver quality, reliability, and service.
“Our core purpose at Grampian Fasteners is to help create an environment where all our families can flourish. We’re doing that every day as the products we supply that are going into all the infrastructure we rely on and products we all use. We’re very conscious that we also need to consider the environment impact of running our business as part of our purpose and these upgrades are a reflection of that.” said Zara Vaughan, Commercial Manager at Grampian Fasteners.
Grampian Fasteners will continue to assess opportunities to improve efficiency and sustainability across its business as part of its long-term strategy.
