An Aberdeen celebration in honour of Robert Burns is set to make a welcome return this week.

Final preparations are underway for the return of the Granite Burns Supper which will be held at Macdonald Norwood Hall Hotel on Friday, January 23rd.

The event will feature both traditional and modern addresses, along with networking opportunities, and an array of entertainment, MC’d by Alex Lovie.  Guests will enjoy performances including music Bucksburn & District Novice Juvenile Pipe Major Neil Mitchell, dancers from Banchory’s Coutts School of Highland Dancing, and more.

An auction and raffle will raise funds for the Camphill Wellbeing Trust, Chest, Heart & Stroke Scotland (CHSS) and Microphthalmia, Anophthalmia & Coloboma Support (MACS), a small national charity that supports people born without eyes or with underdeveloped eyes, and their families.

Commenting on return of the event, its creator Brett Jackson of Granite PR said: “We are thrilled to announce the return of the Granite Burns Supper to kick off what promises to be another busy year of events.

“We hope that this evening will provide an ideal blend of business and enjoyment while generating valuable income for three very deserving causes.”
