Greenwell and Celera Support Services are proud to announce their strategic partnership to bring the Common Sense Coffee House and Bar to Jamieson Quay as part of Tall Ships 2025 at the Port of Aberdeen.

Scott Brown, sales director at Greenwell, and John Wigglesworth, director of Celera, have joined forces to create an innovative and functional space that blends sustainability, local sourcing, and quality hospitality. In just three months, a purpose-built hospitality hub has been designed and created, ready for Tall Ships.

Set to become Jamieson Quay’s only dedicated specialist coffee outlet, the Common Sense Coffee House and Bar will offer a unique menu focused on Fair Trade coffees and teas, as well as the now-legendary homemade scones that have become a local favourite. More than just a café, the venue will also be the only place stocking beverages from Aberdeenshire producers – including Deeside Water, Summerhouse Drinks, and Life Blood Kombucha.

Scott Brown, sales director at Greenwell said: "This collaboration is a great example of what we can deliver, which is high-quality, purpose-built spaces at speed. We’re proud to support Common Sense in bringing a fresh, locally-sourced coffee and hospitality experience to Jamieson Quay. It’s exciting to be involved in a major international event such as the Tall Ships 2025.”

In addition to providing the purpose-built container, Greenwell are proudly supporting the Tall Ships Races as the official event operations sponsor. Greenwell will provide 13 on-site CTX Containex cabins and 10 containers to facilitate event operations. This contribution will play a key role in the behind-the-scenes coordination of the event, supporting logistics and staff operations.

John Wigglesworth, director at Celera added, “At Celera, we focus on creating vibrant, community-led spaces, and this partnership with Greenwell has been a lovely project to bring Common Sense to Tall Ships and be the only fair trade operator at Jamieson Quay.”

The Common Sense team will be at their purpose-built container from 18th to 22nd July on Jamieson Quam see @commonsenseabz
