In its landmark 50th anniversary year, Hall Morrice has announced a senior appointment to support its strategy and future growth whilst building on its corporate finance capabilities.
Aberdeen-based Hall Morrice has appointed Andrew Walker to the role of partner to work closely with Managing Partner Robert Bain, the wider partner group and the firm’s leadership team to help shape its strategy, direction and continued development.
Andrew will play a leading role in growing Hall Morrice’s corporate finance and wider advisory services, supporting business owners and management teams with acquisitions, disposals, funding, succession planning, management buy-outs and long-term growth strategies. He will also contribute to the leadership and strategic development of the firm, working with the existing partners to broaden the range and depth of advice available to clients.
Andrew is a well-known and respected figure in the North-east business community. He brings more than 30 years’ experience in corporate finance, business leadership and strategic advice, together with a strong network across Scotland.
Originally from Inverurie, Andrew spent nine years with a “Big Four” firm before joining Johnston Carmichael in 2003 as a Corporate Finance Partner and later served as Chief Executive for five years. Andrew is also Trustee of The Wood Foundation and The Wood Foundation Africa.
