For 50 years and across three generations, Sinclairs has grown from Tom and Nellie Sinclair’s small Inverurie watch-repair shop into a 7,000 sq. ft store offering jewellery, watches, fine gifts and a café bistro.
Now led by their granddaughter Debbie following Ian’s semi-retirement in 2024, the business remains rooted in family values, quality and personal service. The Sinclair’s 50th Anniversary Ball brought together family, friends and colleagues to celebrate this milestone and recognise everyone who has supported the business over the decades.
The Harry Fraser Catering team was proud to be asked to cater for the occasion, held on Saturday 22nd November at Thainstone Exchange, Inverurie. Guests enjoyed a three-course dinner which included:
- Ham Hock Terrine
Set on mixed leaf salad with piccalilli and served with mini oatcakes - Supreme of Chicken
Accompanied by haggis and finished with a malt whisky sauce, served with seasonal vegetables - Biscoff Cheesecake
Served with honeycomb ice cream and topped with a personalised wafer
Behind the scenes, the Harry Fraser Catering team spent weeks planning and five full days preparing for the dinner. From early deliveries and detailed prep to assembling over 1,050 plates, it was a genuine team effort. Special thanks go to Alison at North East Events for the beautiful centrepieces and to Oceans3 for providing entertainment throughout the meal.
Debbie Sinclair shared her thanks following the event: “Just wanted to say thank you so much for Saturday night. The food was amazing; we have had so many compliments on it and the service was absolutely first class... The atmosphere of the whole night was fantastic.”
