MISS Miscarriage Support would like to invite members to the grand opening of its “Forget Me Not” Baby Loss Memorial Garden.
The garden will be opened by the Lord Provost of Aberdeen, Dr David Cameron, at 2pm on Saturday, August 24, at the Aberdeen Crematorium, Hazlehead. After the opening, there will be refreshments at Hazlehead Café.
Concerning the garden opening, Dr David Cameron, said: “I am honoured to have been asked to be present at Aberdeen Crematorium on Saturday, August 24 for this poignant ceremony which sees the creation of a special commemorative garden by MISS Miscarriage Services which will provide parents and families who have suffered pregnancy loss with a dedicated space for reflection.”
Working with project partners Sands, Aberdeen City Council, and Gerbera Designs, MISS hope this serene garden can be a place for individuals and families to find solace and healing, while surrounded by the beauty of nature and the garden’s meaningful design features. We sincerely hope that you will be able to join us for this special event.
