Only 60 miles from Aberdeen along the magnificent Dee valley, sits Braemar Highland game centre that tailors unique and authentic Highland Games for team building fun.

Highland Games have been held in Braemar for over a thousand years, dating back to Malcolm of Canmore, where individuals would compete in feats of strength before the King.

Imagine experiencing this in a contemporary sense with colleagues in the magnificent setting where the Braemar Gathering takes place each September.

With a piper's welcome, a selection of games are available including the caber toss, or throwing the hammer with Scottish Heavy Champion Kyle Randalls, all within the iconic Braemar Gathering arena.

Set a little competitive side to the day and enjoy a teams Tug-o-War competition, there are many options and possibilities. Additionally, the Braemar Royal Highland Society dance teacher Viv Macintosh can be on hand to teach your team some ancient military steps.

Enjoy the truly stunning surroundings of the Braemar Highland Games Centre which is a perfect location for team building occasions on an exclusive use basis. Food and refreshments, together with comprehensive meeting and conference facilities are all available.

The Highland Games Centre can accommodate up to eighty participants, but small teams are also very welcome.

The Centre operates under the auspices of the Braemar Royal Highland Charity, which will be supported by holding an event here. The Centre is also available for all manner of other events, including weddings and dinners.
