Aberdeen City Council has invested almost £2million in the upkeep of 21 historic and much-loved city centre buildings and landmarks.
Revealed in The Press and Journal, a total of £1.98million was awarded through the local authority's Union Street Conservation Area Regeneration Scheme, intended to help fund repairs and upkeep of city centre landmarks.
Now, a full breakdown of where that cash has been spent has been revealed, with sites such as the Jamieson and Carry building receiving £320,000 towards a major overhaul.
Commercial units like the former Jimmy Chungs restaurant and the old Scottish Hydro store also received cash towards refurbishments.
Another £20,000 went towards repairing the iconic frontage of The Grill on Union Street, while £13,000 was used to keep the famous Bruce Miller clock ticking.
