Aberdeen-based family support charity Home-Start Aberdeen has once again received generous festive support from the team at Anasuria Operating Company Limited (AOC) through their ongoing AOCares Christmas campaign, part of a longstanding partnership that continues to make a big impact for local families.
Thanks to the kindness and generosity of the Anasuria team, this year’s donations of gifts will help bring Christmas cheer to 113 children from 64 families supported by Home-Start Aberdeen. Each child will receive thoughtful gifts this festive season, many of whom might otherwise have gone without presents this Christmas.
Cameron McCready, chief executive of Home-Start Aberdeen, said: “We’ve been incredibly moved by the continued generosity from the team at Anasuria. For the families we support, Christmas can be a time of real pressure and these gifts provide a moment of joy for and relief for parents. It’s a powerful reminder of what community and corporate support can look like and we’re very grateful for their continued support.”
The AOCares campaign has been running for a number of years, growing in strength each festive season. Employees from across the business come together to “adopt” a family, donate and deliver gifts in coordination with Home-Start Aberdeen’s team, who work closely with families experiencing financial hardship, isolation or health challenges.
Anasuria Operating Company and Home-Start Aberdeen continue their partnership to bring festive cheer to 113 children this Christmas.
Richard Beattie, CEO at Anasuria Operating Company, added: “We’re proud to continue our support of Home-Start Aberdeen and we know the difference this kind of practical help can make. Our team really believes in the importance of giving back and at this time of year it’s about making things a little easier for families and helping make Christmas magical for as many children as we can. Thank you to the Home-Start team for the vital work they continue to do across Aberdeen.”
Home-Start Aberdeen, which has been supporting families across the city for nearly 40 years, plays a vital role in providing emotional and practical assistance to those with young children. By pairing families with trained home-visiting volunteers, the charity provides tailored support for families when they need it most.
The charity welcomes support from individuals and businesses throughout the year, not just at Christmas, and continues to work in partnership with others to make sure families receive support during challenging times.
