Hypercube is delighted to announce that its CEO and Co-Founder, Adam Sroka, has been appointed to the Governance Board of The Data Lab, Scotland's innovation centre for data and AI.
The appointment recognises Adam's longstanding contribution to Scotland's data and AI ecosystem and his commitment to helping strengthen the country's position as a global leader in responsible AI innovation.
Established in 2014, The Data Lab brings together industry, academia and the public sector to accelerate the adoption of data and AI across Scotland. Through innovation programmes, skills development and community initiatives, it plays a central role in growing Scotland's data economy and developing the next generation of AI talent. Its Governance Board provides strategic oversight for the organisation, helping shape its long-term vision, innovation priorities and professional learning programmes.

Over the past decade, Adam has been an active contributor to Scotland's data and AI ecosystem, regularly speaking at industry events, hosting community meetups and collaborating with organisations across academia, government and industry. Passionate about developing Scotland's data talent and innovation ecosystem, he has consistently championed the role collaboration plays in turning research and ideas into real-world impact.
As CEO of Hypercube, Adam has led the Scottish startup’s evolution from a specialist technology consultancy into a platform-led AI business. Today, Hypercube develops AI platforms exclusively for the energy sector, helping some of the industry's leading organisations make better decisions across procurement, project delivery, asset management and operations.
