Hypercube has delivered a secure, centralised data platform for battery storage specialist Zenobē, helping the business gain greater operational intelligence across its battery energy storage system (BESS) portfolio while creating the foundations for future AI adoption.
Zenobē is a leading developer, owner and operator of battery energy storage systems, supporting the transition to a more flexible and decarbonised energy system. The company currently operates nine BESS sites across the UK and is expanding into European and US markets. As its portfolio continued to grow, so too did the volume and complexity of operational, technical and financial data required to manage its assets effectively.
To support its continued growth, Zenobē required a secure, scalable data platform that could centralise portfolio data, improve governance, reduce reliance on manual processes and specialist knowledge, and provide a foundation for advanced analytics and AI.
Hypercube worked closely with Zenobē's product, technical and operational teams to design and build a cloud-based data platform on AWS. The platform consolidates operational and financial data from multiple systems into a single governed environment, standardising information to support reporting, analytics and future innovation.
The solution has created a trusted single source of data across Zenobē's BESS portfolio, giving teams easier access to information while reducing data bottlenecks and dependency on individual expertise. Leadership now benefits from improved visibility across the portfolio through enhanced reporting and dashboarding, enabling faster and more informed decision-making. The platform also provides a scalable foundation for future AI applications across asset management, diagnostics and operational decision-making.
