Hypercube, the AI partner for the energy sector, has announced the appointment of Bridgit Hartland-Johnson as non-executive director, strengthening its domain-led approach to deploying artificial intelligence across energy businesses in the North-east and beyond.

Bridgit brings more than 30 years of leadership across global energy infrastructure, regulation and strategy, including senior roles at Ørsted and Siemens, and advisory work for governments and utilities in Europe and Asia. At Ørsted, she played a central role in delivering first-of-a-kind offshore wind, storage and interconnection programmes, and represented the company in high-level forums shaping the UK’s emerging policy landscape.

Her appointment supports Hypercube’s continued growth as it helps energy organisations deploy AI responsibly and accelerate the transition to resilient, intelligent and low-carbon energy systems.

Bridgit Hartland-Johnson, Non-Executive Director, Hypercube, said: “Hypercube is working on some of the most important challenges facing organisations today - enabling the rapid deployment of AI capabilities in the energy sector at a crucial time of transformation. I’m delighted to support the team as the company grows its impact and helps clients navigate increasingly complex energy systems.”
