ICR, a global provider of specialist maintenance, integrity and inspection solutions, has expanded its dedicated Africa sales team to meet the increasing demand for its technologies across the region.

The Africa division has been led by experienced Head of Sales – Africa, Scott Byers, since 2022. This latest expansion follows a sustained period of growth, driven by strong interest in ICR’s composite repairs, Technowrap™, its first-of-its-kind composite repair inspection technology, INSONO™, and its weldless flange-to-pipe connection technology, Quickflange™.

Scott Byers, Head of Sales – Africa, said: “ICR’s presence in Africa continues to grow rapidly as we build on our fantastic customer and partner network across the region.

With the increasing demand for our services, I’m delighted to welcome Niel Jordan and John Jamieson to the division as Business Development Managers. Niel brings over 27 years of sales experience, while John, our former Technowrap™ Supervisor, offers more than 11 years’ hands-on expertise in installing composite repairs around the world.

These additions strengthen our ability to meet the rising demand for Technowrap™, INSONO™, and Quickflange™ in Africa.”

Niel Jordan commented: “After three years as a Key Account Manager for Quickflange™ with a strong focus on our North Sea clients, I’m excited to support the rapid growth of our services in Africa. I look forward to applying my technical and commercial expertise to help customers in the region benefit from our weldless connection technology.”

John Jamieson added: “Following 11 incredible years leading Technowrap™ installations and training courses worldwide, including successful projects across Africa, I’m eager to take on this new chapter and contribute to ICR’s continued growth in this promising region.”

ICR looks forward to exploring further opportunities in Africa and expanding its customer and partner network.
