Aberdeen City Council is seeking to appoint an independent Chair for the Aberdeen Visitor Levy Forum, following the decision to introduce a Visitor Levy scheme in Aberdeen from April 2027.
The Forum brings together representatives from across Aberdeen's visitor economy, including accommodation, tourism, culture, events, academia and communities. The Chair will provide independent leadership, guide discussions among a diverse range of stakeholders and help the Forum develop clear advice on the Visitor Levy scheme and the future use of levy proceeds.
This is a unique voluntary opportunity for an experienced leader to help shape investment priorities that support Aberdeen's visitor economy, visitor experience and wider economic development.
