The INEOS FPS team, based at Kingswell, has selected Scottish children’s charity The Archie Foundation as its Charity of the Year for 2026.
The partnership stems from a recommendation by employees in Aberdeen and reflects a strong personal commitment to supporting the charity’s compassionate work for young people and their loved ones. The Archie Foundation provides specialist care and assistance to babies, children and families across the north of Scotland, often during some of the most difficult periods they face.
Darcy Buyers, HR Business Partner at INEOS FPS, said: “We are pleased to endorse our employees' nomination of The Archie Foundation as our Charity of the Year for 2026. This decision followed an employee visit to the Royal Aberdeen Children’s Hospital in January, that included a tour hosted by the Archie Foundation. It was inspiring to see and learn at first hand the difference that partnerships and donations can make to the essential services they provide to families in our local community. With the partnership now established, the Kingswell team is working closely with the charity to explore further opportunities to collaborate and provide meaningful support.”
For the charity, Reti Turner, a Senior Fundraising Officer, highlighted the importance of such partnerships: “The Archie Foundation exists to enhance NHS care for babies, children and their families throughout the North of Scotland. Established in 2000, our aim is to ‘make the difference’ by funding vital extras beyond standard healthcare provision. This ranges from specialist medical equipment and welcoming hospital spaces to financial help for families, as well as neonatal and bereavement support.”
Operating across Grampian, Tayside and the Highlands, The Archie Foundation works to ensure children have access to the highest standards of care and compassionate support. As the organisation relies entirely on fundraising and donations, Charity of the Year partnerships such as this play a crucial role in sustaining its life changing work.
