Since opening its doors in March 2023, Integrity HSE has successfully established itself as the premier global provider of efficient, effective, innovative, and sustainable HSE and training solutions. This is why the organisation was sought out for partnership deals by both ABL, the leading independent global consultancy, and Randox, Official Diagnostic Health Partner of Team GB ahead of the Paris Olympics.
Steven Harris, Integrity HSE’s Managing Director, said: “The first year has been brilliant for everyone involved, and the team are very proud to have beaten all my initial projections. We now sit with a beautiful office in Queens Road which is constantly bustling with clients and houses a team of HSE experts who are focussed on making the working world a safer, healthier, and more sustainable place”.
Integrity HSE’s story began when Steven was working within senior QHSE roles for TotalEnergies, and latterly Lloyd’s Register. He openly admits that during that time he was a difficult client to please, and had standards that were sometimes nearly impossible to fulfil. “The type of risk I was entrusted to manage could easily cost lives, and I could not find outsourced HSE partners I could trust to deliver”.
This is why Steven was quick to recruit Darrell Lines in May 2023 as Integrity HSE’s Director of Safety & Risk. Darrell understands the company’s clients due to his extensive history in major accident hazard industries, that began in an operational role offshore. Now Darrell spearheads international growth, whilst also taking time out of his busy schedule to ‘give back’ by lecturing at Robert Gordon University.
The organisation then turned their attention towards health, and specifically mental health. This led to the company welcoming Shabnum Hanif as the Director of Clinical Psychology in October 2023. Shabnum, who is still a practising clinical psychologist, now has a team of health professionals who are in demand throughout Scotland and northern England in sectors from oil & gas to professional sports.
Although Steven openly admits there have been challenges in the first year, the company has always emerged stronger. He said: “We are gaining strength and momentum every day, and there is a very bright future ahead for Integrity HSE and our clients”.
