Global industrial products and engineering services specialist Imenco AS has reported an increase in staff as the business continues to strengthen its international footprint across sectors and regions.
During the past year, Imenco AS has expanded its global workforce to 220 people, with further growth expected during the remainder of 2026.
The news comes as the Norway-based business continues to win contracts globally and make progress on strengthening its presence in key markets such as Brazil, with aviation and defence proving to be the company’s main growth areas.
The growth of Imenco AS is also fuelled by working closely with new and existing customers to evolve the portfolio in line with their needs. Recent developments include the company’s in-demand machine-learning, fuelscan analyser which scans fuel tanks to check for debris and water particles, and its advanced fuel line technology that enables helicopters to refuel while hovering, removing the need to land in challenging conditions such as poor weather.

Imenco AS has also successfully married the very latest technology with the preservation of Norway’s Viking heritage, having been selected to move three of the best-preserved Viking ships in the world, and other objects of significant historic value. The three-year project, which culminates this year and is one of the most complex moving projects ever seen in Norway, will see the artefacts relocated to the new Museum of the Viking Age in Oslo ahead of its planned opening in 2027.
Commenting on the growth of Imenco AS during the past 12 months, Chief Commercial Officer Per Erik Skjold-Ødegaard said: “Demand for advanced engineering and technology solutions continues to grow across our global markets, so it is important for us to invest in people and capability to ensure we remain at the forefront of developments.
“Simultaneously, projects such as the relocation of the Viking ships in Oslo demonstrate how we are using our breadth and depth of expertise in ever more creative ways that maximise precision, care and responsibility.”
