International School Aberdeen (ISA) is pleased to announce the appointment of Sarah Cusworth as the new middle and high school principal.
In her new role, Sarah will take responsibility for all of ISA’s Middle School (Primary 7 – S2) and High School (S3 – S6), leading the delivery of the school’s esteemed International Baccalaureate (IB) curriculums. Supported by the wider leadership team, she will ensure that students continue to receive the highest standards of academic excellence and pastoral care.
Originally from North Yorkshire, Sarah brings a wealth of global experience to the position, having worked in international schools across Guatemala, Malaysia, China, Mexico, and South Korea before joining ISA in 2019.
Most recently serving as Assistant Principal, Sarah was the driving force behind the school’s Advisory System - highly praised by Education Scotland for its outstanding care and support - as well as cutting-edge developments in peer mediation, universal design for learning (UDL) and student agency.
