Festival founding brothers, Mungo and Guy Finlayson are welcomed back to Lochter Activity Centre with their 10th festival.
Beer we go again. MFGF Events, run by brothers Mungo and Guy Finlayson confirm dates and venue for its Beer @ The Barn festival, held at Lochter Activity Centre in Inverurie on April 28 and 29.
This anticipated event, Beer @ The Barn Lochter, is now running for the second year. The event brings a great selection of carefully selected beers from local and further afield breweries. Beer not your thing? Never fear, Inverurie Beer Festival is known for catering for everyone, offering exclusive ciders, gins, Deeside's own Dark Matter rum and new this year, prosecco.
Once again, MFGF’s knowledgeable staff will be on hand to give you some great advice – even providing a couple of “tasters” to help you make up your mind.
MFGF Event’s co founder & operations director, Mungo Finlayson said: “We’re looking forward to returning back to Inverurie and working with Lochter Activity Centre. The Inverurie beer lovers are always a great crowd and we look forward to welcoming you all back to this intimate event.”
Finlayson continues: “Lochter is a great venue, we’re very lucky to work with the centre and provide this great location for local beer fans in the Aberdeen area. We’re also proud to announce that we have collaborated with Summer House Drinks to produce our very own Early Grey Tonic Water and Deeside Brewery, coming together specially to brew new beers for the festival. We hope you enjoy them as much as we do.”
Three sessions will be held over the two days; Friday night, Saturday afternoon and Saturday evening. All ticketed sessions will feature great live music with various bands such as Mad Ferrets, as well as a great selection of food provided by Lochter Activity Centre. The event is once again working in partnership with a local bus firm, providing a shuttle service back to the Inverurie town center on the Friday and Saturday.
