Scotland’s top ABBA tribute comes to Thainstone Exchange on Saturday, October 23.

As the nation is gripped by ABBA announcing their surprise comeback, disco fever is back in the spotlight for Inverurie.

Fake But Fab 2021 - Live Tribute Band Festival will be headlined by ABBA A Rival paying tribute to ABBA's iconic sounds. As part of this six and a half hour music festival, event goers will be treated to three other tribute bands showcasing the music of Meat Loaf, Bryan Adams and Ocean Colour Scheme.

As Aberdeenshire looks to move forward on from the pandemic, We Are Inverurie BID are proud to be hosting the return of live gigs, incredible performers and the chance to boogie at an iconic, regional venue.

Fake But Fab provides the perfect stage for feeling the atmosphere that only live events can bring, all in a safe environment.

Alex Macleod, event manager, Thainstone Events said: “Fake but Fab returning to Thainstone Exchange has been a long time coming but with ABBA A Rival headlining it will be more than worth the wait. Thainstone Exchange provides the perfect space to safely enjoy a super trouper night, allowing ABBA fans the opportunity to celebrate their exciting return.”

Derek Ritchie We Are Inverurie BID manager said: “The music of ABBA will never go out of fashion and everyone needs a bit of escapism.
