As events continue to pile pressure on businesses across the country, and as we head towards a Scottish Parliament Election, the Chamber is asking North-east firms to help track the current performance and future challenges and opportunities facing them and the region’s economy by taking part in the latest edition of our flagship national confidence survey.
The Quarterly Economic Survey (QES) is run by Aberdeen & Grampian Chamber of Commerce and supported by Gilson Gray, the UK’s fastest-growing law firm.
The short survey asks about a range of metrics including sales, profitability, pricing, cash flow, investment, staffing, barriers to growth and future plans & priorities.
We are also seeking to shed light on how our political parties are performing in terms of business-friendly policy.

As well as painting a strong regional picture, the data gathered will also be fed into the British Chambers of Commerce national report, which is the largest and most representative independent business survey of its kind in the UK.
Its findings are closely watched by policymakers such as the Treasury, the Bank of England, the Office of Budget Responsibility and widely quoted in the media. And the results form a key part of AGCC’s lobbying and government engagement work.
So please take the time to participate. It matters.
